The Hot Dawg can be fished in many ways, the unique profile allows it to slip around and through the heaviest of cover that one will run into when out on the water. Also its erratic darting action and size makes it a bait with a lot of drawing power. One of the ways to fish the bait is that of similar to a big soft plastic swimbait, cast in and around heavy cover then proceed to slow retrieve. Glide it, roll it low & slow on the bottom, or punch it into grass. Not like any other traditional soft baits, the hot dawg is in a category of its own.
